Scott Anderson
Principal Interior Designer / CEO
A lover of art, décor, and both modern and traditional design, my passion for interior design goes beyond creating beautiful and functional spaces. I am an interior designer with over 37 years of experience. Before this, I worked as a veterinary surgeon, providing medical and surgical care for animals, including diagnosis, treatment, vaccinations, and physical examinations. My deep love for animals led to many years in animal healthcare.
While my passion for animal welfare remains, I eventually transitioned fully into interior design to focus on my creative calling.
Subcontracted by Charles Luckman, I worked on completing the Border Grill Restaurant and on the renovation of Terminal 1, including work on the Theme Building, which had seen little major development since its completion in 1984. The project was valued at $12 million and took over 18 months to complete.
I also contributed to the Terminal 1 extension (known during construction as Terminal 1.5) at LAX, which expanded passenger processing areas including ticketing, security screening, and baggage claim for several airlines. The development also introduced vertical cores to support future pedestrian bridge access to the Automated People Mover system. The facility was designed with sustainability in mind, targeting LEED Silver certification, and reflects a mid-century modern aesthetic consistent with the LAX Central Terminal Area. Construction began in 2017 on this $477.5 million project.
